Cultural Mission & Activities // NICE CHOICE – Grand Canal Cultural Belt – China (CN)

We’re honoured to have been invited to take part in a cultural mission in China – NICE CHOICE.

From May 18th to May 28th, Officina Corpuscoli’s founder and director, Maurizio Montalti will be travelling to the Grand Canal Cultural Belt in China, joining a larger group of invited Chinese and International artists, craftsman and designers, and engaging in cross-cultural activities, travels, exhibitions and workshops. 

The aim of the mission is to trigger novel perspectives and opportunities deriving from the different expertise and cultural approaches characterising the two continents and favouring mutual learning and comprehension of the spirit  of Chinese culture, for the establishment of further future cooperation. 

The Grand Canal belt will be vastly explored, including the provinces of Beijing, Jinan, Suzhou and Hangzhou.

Officina Corpuscoli’s work will be also presented as part of exhibitions taking place at NICE Gallery and at Mao Long Museum (Marco Polo Museum), in Beijing.

The initiative is organised by NICE (Network of International Culturalink Entities), China Cultural Industry Association and the Administrative Committee of National Cultural Industry Innovation Experimental Zone in Beijing.
